As part of a leading global law firm, our IT Department supports the Luxembourg local office. The role involves the provision of IT hardware and the delivery of IT support to global and regionally agreed service levels.

In order to reinforce our Luxembourg IT team, we are currently looking for a full time:

IT Service Support Engineer                                 

Key Responsibilities and Challenges

  • Management of the local IT hardware over the entire asset lifecycle (installation, reporting, and replacement)
  • Ensure global IT processes and procedures are followed locally
  • Maintain asset DB
  • Support of Meeting rooms and installed AV Technology
  • Act as a point of contact in relation to new tools and technologies introduced globally; relay communications and training related to incoming changes
  • Provide first line application and hardware support for local Technology tools. Troubleshoot, engage with users, maintain the call queue – while working with other Technology teams and functions to resolve the issues.
  • Continuous review and consultation of local IT processes and services – ensuring they are fit for purpose and delivering the right quality of services



Qualifications and Skills

  • Passionate for IT  
  • A first successful experience in support desk is required, any kind of other experience in the IT industry desired
  • Good knowledge of AV technologies and support of video conference systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Effective team worker with good time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work with a high level of accuracy
  • English is mandatory, and French would be an advantage
  • Good verbal and written communications
