Your Job:
The Team Lead (AR III) for Professional Billing in our Family Practice team will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the billing processes within the Central Business Office (CBO). The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a particular emphasis on addressing and resolving no response claims, rejected or denied claims, and managing correspondence. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to team building, and the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative environment. The Team Lead will guide the team in meeting performance goals while maintaining a positive and solution-oriented mindset.

Your Job Requirements:
Associate's degree or two years college with credit hours in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field
Or High school diploma or equivalent
And six (6) years progressively responsible experience in medical insurance, medical billing, or medical reimbursement
Proven experience in managing no response claims, denied claims, and billing correspondence.
Knowledgeable with payors; Managed Care, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
Strong leadership skills with experience in team building, coaching, and mentoring.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in healthcare billing software, systems and payer portals (e.g., Epic, Novitasphere).
Demonstrated ability to lead with a positive and innovative mindset.
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence.
Position requires 5 months of in office training before transitioning to working hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH).

Your Job Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support the Professional Billing team to ensure high performance and effective team collaboration.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance team cohesion, communication, and productivity.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance metrics, and address any concerns or challenges.
Monitor and resolve no response claims, rejected or denied claims, and manage all relevant correspondence WQs.
Identify and communicate process improvements to optimize billing workflows and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with manager and leadership to streamline operations and enhance overall revenue cycle performance.
Foster a positive team environment that encourages innovation, continuous learning, and mutual support.
Promote teamwork and collaboration within the Professional Billing team and across other departments.
Encourage a mindset of accountability, ownership, and proactive problem-solving among team members.
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Stay updated on industry trends, payer requirements, and best practices in revenue cycle management.
Maintain assigned WQ metrics.
Fill in as manager back up when needed. 
Work special projects.
