We are looking for a Sr. Creative Technologist – Design to join our Creative Technology Lab! As part of the Creative Technology Lab, we translate the most advanced creative technologies into clear stories, practical workflows, and inspiring content! Do you The candidate must have deep experience designing and developing Adobe Creative Cloud design and generative AI workflows. We create the future by exploring and creating the future of creative workflows. This role bridges creativity and technology, supporting Product Management and Marketing by applying new tools, prototyping workflows, and showing what’s possible through hands-on creative work.

In this role, we partner across teams to tell Adobe’s story in innovative ways while staying at the forefront of fast paced creative trends.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, Evangelism, and Marketing teams to build storytelling and evangelize Adobe technology tailored for audiences, events, and social media.
  • Speak with authority to showcase with confidence videos, presentations, and artistic work that demonstrates experimentation with new tools and techniques.
  • Explore and apply emerging generative AI technologies used to create modern media content, workflows, and demos that push the boundaries of creativity.
  • Act as a creative expert in Adobe tools—Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express, vector and layout design software.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Storytelling & Communication: Ability to translate complex creative technology into clear, inspiring narratives. Determined curiosity and passionate about experimenting and sharing with others.
  • Portfolio Required: Demonstrated projects in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, demos, and creative content that highlight generative AI and design expertise.
  • 2D Design background: Strong background creating a variety of media such as illustration, print layout, logo, marketing materials. Broad familiarity with using design software that are Adobe and non-Adobe products
  • Technology-leaning mentality: Have a strong desire to learn and understand new technologies, particularly how content creation tools using artificial intelligence empower human creativity
  • Presentation Skills: Strong presence and confidence when speaking to executive audiences, creators, and community groups

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on expertise with Adobe creative design tools (Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Express, etc.).
  • Familiarity with generative AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Google Veo 3, Midjourney, Flux, Stable Diffusion, etc.).
  • Active use of LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) in creative workflows.
  • Ability to record, edit, and produce videos for demos and storytelling.
  • Programming or scripting (JavaScript, Python) a plus.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $120,700 -- $226,350 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $156,300 - $226,350 In New York, the pay range for this position is $156,300 - $226,350 In Colorado, the pay range for this position is $137,300 - $198,800 In Illinois, the pay range for this position is $137,300 - $198,800 In Massachusetts, the pay range for this position is $137,300 - $198,800 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $140,100 - $202,950

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
