Job Description

We're looking for our new colleague for the role of PROJECT MANAGER.

Following generally accepted engineering principles, the Project Manager coordinates and manages multiple product development projects through all phases, including initiation, engineering, testing, release, and subsequent support.

At times, the Project Manager may also contribute to the development of business and marketing strategies, optimizing the performance of new and existing product lines to achieve organizational goals

This role requires the Project Manager to maintain a understanding of the business unit's practices, such as finance, portfolio planning, and overall strategy. The Project Manager is also expected to provide input to the engineering organization regarding technical staff coordination, resource allocation, performance feedback, and development planning.

You will report to the Program Operations Manager and follow a hybrid work schedule based in Prague, Czech Republic.

Your Responsibilities:

• Schedule/planning across multiple functional areas.
• Coordinate outside development resources and factored product acquisitions.
• Provide continuation engineering for existing products.
• Responsibility for defining project priorities.
• Deliver project expectations, and identifying and mitigating issue/risk among a cross-functional project team.
• Represent the best interest of the business unit.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in product development or in a leadership role.
• Fluent both Czech and English.
• Proven experience leading multiple teams, working closely with management to resolve challenges, and coordinating resources outside direct reporting lines.
• Provides regular updates, follows through on commitments, and anticipates potential risks early.
• Effectively communicate and facilitate presentations (internally and externally).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading product development efforts.
• Experience directing resources, plan project activities and balance financial budgets.
• Recognizable knowledge of detailed product development processes.
• Experience in information security and approval process with TUV or other approving agencies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, SAFe, XP or Kanban.
• PMP professional certification or other Project management certification.
