More specifically, for HP's PLM office, we are transforming our product data management eco-system across these primary objectives:
Build out people, processes, and systems on SAP S/4HANA Master Data platform, using the latest SAP technologies with MDG-M (Master Data Governance – Materials) and more.
Reduce the turn-around-time (TAT) for SKU Creation.
Improve SKU Utilization and the configure-to-order (CTO) process.
Optimize end-to-end PLM processes with data governance.
Deliver efficient, automated processes that deliver productivity improvements across the Supply Chain.
Stabilize the IT application landscape.
PLM IT JOB OVERVIEW
We seek an Expert SAP Technologist / Analyst to help us continue the transformation of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Material Master Data IT systems. We are looking for enthusiastic team players with good interpersonal and communication skills who can work with minimal direct guidance from management. Team members will deliver PLM Transformation projects, Global Regulatory Compliance (GRC/RCRB) projects, business productivity capabilities and small investment initiatives.
Skills Required for this PLM IT Role:
At least 7-10+ years of combined functional experience in SAP, with prioritized expertise in PP, MM (Material, BOM, Routing, prod versions) and MDG-M Master data related, with business process mapping and configuration.
5 or more years of experience with ABAP (SAP) development, and Subject Matter Expert in developing applications for SAP using ABAP, CDS, OData service on S/4 HANA, and related technologies (e.g., OOABAP, SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, ALE/IDOC).
Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA master data Inventory, Order management process Excellent understanding of system architectural principals and standards.
Prefer ability to work with Non-SAP skills for adjacent systems (e.g., .NET, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
Functional specifications of RICEF objects and coordinate with developers for build and unit test.
Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others to deliver multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to perform hands on Development and configuration of applications.
Demonstrate a results-oriented, Can-Do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Minimum 2-3 full life cycle implementations as well as in support projects.
Lead and deliver client requirements and perform basic debugging.
Key responsibilities of this PLM IT Role:
Functional Design and development of solutions/programs based on the functional requirements.
Work closely with SAP technical consultants to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance SAP functionality.
Helping in technical designs document and conduct Functional unit testing with Client/PLM COE Team
Prepares technical designs document and unit testing.
Proposes, robust solution to meet the functional needs.
Builds professional relationships with team members and clients, to ensure delivery of proposed solutions.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in applications engineering, programming, or a related field.
