This is an excellent opportunity to join a small team that is in its growth phase and to be a part of the growth and development of the Regulatory Change team at ICG.

Summary of our opportunity

The Compliance team consists of 21 employees, situated across London, Warsaw, Luxembourg, Singapore and the US.  As a small team supporting a unique group, roles are varied, often challenging and cover a broad range of regulation and all jurisdictions in which the Group operates. Collectively the team support 10 regulated entities offering investment management and advisory services from five core jurisdictions. Our private funds include Mezzanine and Equity, Credit, Senior Debt, Real Estate and Secondaries and are marketed into 30+ jurisdictions.

As part of this team you will assist the London Compliance Manager responsible for Regulatory Change with reviewing incoming communications from regulators, law firms and other data sources to determine the impact of new pieces of regulation on the footprint of ICG. This will include assisting with the maintenance of the Compliance Horizon Tracker and the production of written and verbal updates across Compliance and other team at ICG. Fundamental to this role is the ability to read through large volumes of information and produce high quality updates across ICG. This role would suit someone who wants to learn more about global regulation and its impacts.

Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting the Compliance Manager with the management of Compliance Horizon Tracker

  • Provide written and verbal updates on regulation

  • Manage the process for obtaining summaries from stakeholders

  • Review of incoming information sources for their applicability to ICG

  • Regular Management Information production.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 

  • Experience working in an Investment / Wholesale Bank, PE & Asset Managers with €1bn + AUM or Leveraged Finance organisation.

  • 2+ years compliance experience.

  • Excellent English language skills

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin or suitable relevant experience in lieu of qualifications

  • Resilient and motivated to succeed

  • Ability to work across multiple cultures
