What you will do to contribute to the company's success
- Performs minor repairs (including plumbing, electrical, landscape, hardscape and mechanical) within outlined SLAs
- Oversees work of external contractors and reports progress and deficiencies.
- Contacts vendors for needed parts, repairs, maintenance and/or equipment.
- Coordinates and/or performs repairs and routine maintenance with vendors and/or department members to ensure work is non-disruptive to daily functions.
- Assists in tracking projects, preventative maintenance schedules and all required inspections.
- Assists with selection and setup of new vendors.
- Performs scheduled walk-through inspections & maintenance checklists of select company owned buildings.
- Fulfills employee facility related requests, which may include moving materials, installing keyboard trays, furniture assembly and hanging artwork, dry erase boards, televisions, etc.
- Assists with maintaining facility security including building access and alarm codes.
- Maintain supply levels of facility related supplies and order replacements as necessary.
- Assists with office arrangements as required to support new hires and personnel moves.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of the company.
- Communicates well with all department members and practices positive exchange of control.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, on the phone and in writing in a clear, straight-forward and professional manner
- Ability to comprehend and adhere to local and federal regulations and company guidelines
- Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, electric drills
- Must possess moderate level of computer skills having knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to lift and handle heavy supplies and equipment
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
- Ability to implement record keeping procedures
- Must possess valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving record
