The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Manager with 20+ years of experience to provide expert-level technical design support for Archon's Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program, specifically supporting Project "Fastball". As a technology leader, you will work hands-on with a world-class engineering team to develop innovative solutions enabling advanced computing and secure communications across multi-domain networks.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will design and implement secure, high-performance network architectures integrating satellite (LEO, MEO, GEO), and terrestrial networks to ensure ultra-resilient connectivity. You will leverage deep expertise in SD-WAN, zero-trust architectures, and multi-vendor platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Red Hat, Microsoft, VMware) to deliver solutions that are effective, compliant, and mission-critical.
Architect, deploy, and maintain secure multi-site SD-WAN solutions for a DoD customer, integrating CSfC technologies including VPNs, Firewalls, Switching, and Routing across contested and complex network environments
Serve as the highest tier escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CSfC solutions, leveraging traffic analysis tools and collaborate with support personnel and service providers to identify and resolve complex issues related to network performance, security, and compliance
Conduct thorough root cause analysis including routing issues, service interruptions, and system vulnerabilities; make recommendations to peers and customer stakeholders for effective mitigation strategies to ensure optimal network performance and uptime
Perform high-level systems analysis, evaluation, integration, and implementation of complex networking solutions including nested VPN architectures and forward edge compute-to-cloud infrastructure
Provide expert-level engineering guidance in the implementation of system specifications, design, integration, testing, and documentation while adhering to DoD Risk Management Framework principles and government regulations for highly secure data transport
Provide technical guidance to peers on solution administration of multi-tenant environments including Microsoft Active Directory and VMware virtualization for a globally deployed 24/7 operations solution
Author, manage and maintain written technical materials
Qualifications:
Required:
At least 20 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and operating complex Information Technology systems supporting 3,000+ users
Top Secret or higher U.S. Government Security Clearance required to start. Candidate must be willing to obtain a SCI with CI Polygraph to remain on contract.
At least 3 years Server Operating Systems and Domain Administration experience in a Windows Server environment including Microsoft AD administration
At least 5 years virtualization experience in a VMware/ESXi environment
At least 15 years networking experience with multi-vendor platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto) including BGP, OSPF, VRF, STP, VLANs, and SD-WAN technologies
Proven experience with DoD network operations including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and NATO classifications
Astute observer with effective root cause identification and problem-solving skills
Familiar with project management approaches, project lifecycles, and tools
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
