Summary:
As a Security Architect, you will define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data in the cloud environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Active Directory Administration: Manage and maintain the Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, user accounts, groups, and organizational units (OUs). Ensure high availability and performance of AD services.
User and Group Management: Administer user accounts, group memberships, and permissions. Implement and manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes. Ensure proper access controls and policies are in place.
Group Policy Management: Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings, software deployments, and configuration management. Troubleshoot and resolve GPO-related issues.
Directory Services: Oversee the configuration and management of AD-integrated services such as DNS and DHCP. Ensure synchronization between AD and other directory services, including Azure Active Directory.
Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to protect the AD environment. Monitor and audit AD activities to detect and respond to potential security incidents. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for the AD environment. Perform regular backups, test restore processes, and address any data loss or corruption issues.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for AD-related issues, including troubleshooting authentication and authorization problems. Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve complex issues.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of AD configurations, processes, and procedures. Prepare regular reports on AD health, performance, and security status.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Active Directory management. Continuously evaluate and improve AD configurations and processes to enhance security and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure alignment of AD practices with organizational goals and security requirements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and architectures.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts and technologies.
- Experience with security incident response and management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with security assessment and auditing tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
