Job Description:

Pharmacy Quality Improvement Manager 

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The Pharmacy Quality Improvement Manger is responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing best practice, procedure alignment, business analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

How you will make an impact: 

  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Researches, develops, and implements related best practices.
  • Develops metrics to track performance and goal achievement; serves as internal consultant relative to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identifies and develops plans to improve performance to be incorporated into planning and the standardization of processes.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.  
  • Perform investigations and root cause analysis on identified nonconformities
  • Partner with cross functional teams and departments to improve processes, quality, and close gaps.
  • Support quality management program activities
  • Participate and lead presentations for the Quality Management Committee

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years management experience with process improvement, project/program management, process engineering and/or performance improvement initiatives; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.  

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification, related process improvement certification or PMI certification preferred.
  • Six sigma green belt certification
  • CPHT
  • CPHQ
  • Experience in retail, specialty, mail order or other high-volume pharmacy
  • Experience in contact center and high production environments.
