SALARY:
The Salary for this position is: $113,782.50 - $126,424.99, Commensurate with Experience.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position manages and directs personnel, technology, and process-related aspects of assigned programs. Work involves designing and implementing management programs; leading work sessions with stakeholders to authorize business processes; managing program budgets; maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies; managing business requirements and needs; and maintaining and replacing systems as needed. This position also evaluates the work of other business specialists; mentors assigned employees; creates plans, projects, and department goals; performs feasibility and economic studies; contributes to work teams; and administers contracts.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is light work and requires applying 10 pounds of force frequently exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required: manual dexterity, hearing, mental acuity, speaking, and talking.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally performed within an office environment that may periodically have unpredicted requirements or demands.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
The City’s Background Check Policy requires background checks to be conducted on final internal or external candidate(s) applying for any position with the City of Charlotte. The type of information that will be collected as part of a background check includes, but is not limited to: reference checks, social security verification, education verification, criminal conviction record check, and, if applicable, a credit history check, sex offender registry and motor vehicle records check.
