Cybersecurity Program and Risk Manager

Key Role:

Designs, implements, and maintains strategic, multi-disciplinary IT programs in support of corporate strategy. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, mentors and may supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing cybersecurity projects across numerous divisions and work streams to measure, baseline, and increase technical maturity, as well as establish and implement standardized documentation to increase application and service process maturity

  • Knowledge of applying project management principles to cybersecurity programs, evaluating and validating scope of each cyber project, gaining stakeholder engagement, establishing realistic timelines, and establishing effective communication plans for various levels of government leadership

  • Knowledge of government onboarding processes, including for Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) and cybersecurity risk resources

  • Ability to manage projects and minimize organizational risk through extensive application retirement and remnant cleanup on the network

  • Ability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams across information technology and cybersecurity programs to execute strategic application deployment

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
