What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provides organizational support for investigative and trial teams; management and review of documents; assistance with presentation of evidence at trial.
  • Fully versed in creating tables of contents and authorities; must prepare, revise, and format legal documents (primarily lengthy appellate briefs and appendices), from e-mail, markup or handwritten sources and incorporate edits/inserts from other legal sources such as Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
  • Must be able to work with WP documents in redlined versions and be able to convert documents to pdf form for serving and filing
  • Requires experience with electronic case filing (ECF)
  • Ability to communicate with court administrators and attorneys concerning proper filing of all legal documents, calendaring and scheduling of legal arguments and other legal proceedings
  • Able to resolve attorney registration issues
  • Able to create and review routine correspondence and file incoming documents and materials appropriately
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and speed are a requirement as are excellent oral and written communication skills and willingness to update computer skills as necessary to meet continually changing demands

  • Ability to perform detailed work consistently, accurately, and under pressure extremely important.
  • Must be able to read and follow instructions and must be able to understand task, task objectives, and the context of the task in the litigation support effort as a whole.
  • Requires initiative to ask questions when necessary to complete tasks correctly (e.g., where instructions are not explicit or appear to be contrary to the task objective).
  • Must have typing/keyboarding skills and good communication skills.



You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Litigation support experience valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment. -Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience formatting legal documents and inserting edits as directed
