• Responsibilities:

• Domain Architectural Ownership
• Design and maintain architecture for scalable, reliable, and secure applications and services.
• Lead architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and design discussions across teams.
• Define and enforce coding standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies based on evolving business needs.
• Work with product team and define the solution for compliance back-office projects.

• Team Leadership:

• Lead a cross-functional team of developers, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and UX to ensure smooth delivery.
• Drive engineering excellence through agile practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.

• Delivery & Execution:

• Own end-to-end technical delivery of features and systems, from planning through deployment.
• Break down high-level requirements into technical solutions and delegate effectively.
• Identify and address technical debt and system inefficiencies proactively.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining high quality.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with distributed systems, API design, and data modeling.
• Experience with Risk & Compliance back-office controls and case management applications.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps culture.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience with UX/UI technologies

  Qualifications:

• Lead the design and implementation of High – Scaling compliance technology solutions across AWS cloud and on-premises environments
• Drive Architectural decisions for mission-critical systems handling high volume financial transactions.
• Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with financial industry standards ( PCI, DSS, SOX etc.,)
• Oversee technical debt management and platform modernization initiatives
• Champion engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
• Collaborate with Devops and Platform teams to optimize deployment pipelines and monitoring systems
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of 10+ engineers across onshore and offshore locations
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration.
• Manage team capacity planning and resource allocation across multiple time zones
• Act as a primary liaison between Product Management and Engineering teams
• Translate business requirements into technical strategies and implementation roadmaps
• Participate in product planning sessions and provide / coordinate technical feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define engineering priorities aligned with business objectives
• Drive cross-functional initiatives with security, compliance, and Operations teams
• Implement agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining high quality standards
• Monitor project metrics, team velocity, and system performance KPIs
• Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS ( EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3 etc.,)
• Experience with on-premises infrastructure management and hybrid cloud architectures is added benefit.
• Understanding in programming languages (Java, .Net )
• Understanding of monolithic and microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong people management skills with focus on team development and retention
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audience
• Knowledge of security best practices and information security
• Understanding in API design and development

• Experience in Financial Services industry
• Experience in Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google or Hybrid) based architecture designs and implementations
• Understanding of financial products, Regulatory and compliance
