We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our team. The role will manage and coordinate all outbound and inbound shipments for the GSC Logistics Team. In addition, this role will also manage off-site inventory at vendor warehouses and support Warehouse Operations (Shipping/Receiving/Picking as needed. Responsibilities include: GMP Cold Chain Management, Managing 3PLs to ensure safe and compliant distribution of GMP Quality Control Samples, Drug Substance and Intermediates and supporting warehouse activities. The job holder will coordinate with couriers, 3PLs and internal and external departments to facilitate each shipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with customs brokers, understanding how to determine Harmonization Tariff Codes and understanding of valuations for exports. Experience with DOT/IATA regulations required. This role would suit someone with a strong customer focus and who is resilient and able to deliver multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Create/Complete import documents such as; End Use Letters, USDA Guideline Statements, etc
  • Escalate to line manager any operational constraints and advise on recommended solutions
  • Ship hazardous materials in compliance with DOT/IATA Regulations
  • Execute Outbound Deliveries for GMP materials in SAP
  • Record all outbound and inbound shipments and archiving electronically
  • Review all sub-contractor billing & invoicing costs (carriers & 3PL  and ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms)
  • Contribute to creation of procedures throughout the Supply Organization which will ensure compliance with GMP regulations such as CAPA, Deviations, Change Controls, SOP, Validation, etc. 
  • Warehouse Operations (Shipping/Receiving/Picking)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Shipping and Logistics
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Basic understanding of cGMP Guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Solid stakeholder management
  • Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to aid in effective decision-making
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to be a strategic thinker
  • Team Player
