The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Demand Growth Insights to lead the transformation of Mondelez’s global Demand Spaces program. This pivotal role will evolve our demand spaces understanding from a foundational strategic planning tool into a powerful engine for commercialization and innovation. You will be instrumental in driving actionable insights that unlock significant growth opportunities across our diverse brand portfolio and global markets, directly accelerating Mondelez’s journey to become the World’s #1 Snacking company.  We seek a visionary leader with deep understanding of strategic business requirements and consumer snacking behavior, coupled with exceptional interpersonal, senior stakeholder management and project management skills, ready to make a profound impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Vision & Strategy Development:

  • Define and articulate the global vision for the Demand Spaces program, leading its evolution from a strategic planning tool to a robust commercialization engine.
  • Develop and refine innovative methodologies for identifying, analyzing, and sizing demand spaces, ensuring global consistency and local relevance.
  • Guide long-term portfolio strategy for the company via a global, holistic view of demand spaces and demand-led growth.
  • Develop principles and provide strategic insights and tools to influence commercial teams’ decisions in defining “Where to Play” and “How to Win” for our categories and brands within the broader snacking landscape across markets.

Program Leadership & Execution:

  • Work closely with global and local business teams to oversee the end-to-end execution of demand spaces research across markets, ensuring high-quality data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Own the annual demand spaces deployment and market update agenda.
  • Manage relationships with external research partners, ensuring efficient project delivery within budget, high-quality outputs with strong ROI, and adherence to best-in-class research practices.
  • Champion the integration of demand space insights into our business growth planning process, innovation pipelines, brand positioning, and commercial activation.

Insights Activation & Commercialization:

  • Design and facilitate dynamic workshops with cross-functional teams (Marketing, R&D, Sales, Category Management) to "bring the data to life," fostering deep understanding and application of demand space insights.
  • Act as the primary owner and custodian of our demand spaces data ecosystem and dashboard tool, ensuring its ongoing relevance, accessibility, and utility including advanced technology and functionality.
  • Develop compelling narratives and presentations that clearly communicate rich demand insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional commercial teams.

Thought Leadership & Capability Building:

  • Serve as the global subject matter expert on all aspects of demand spaces.
  • Lead the change management and required upskilling programs to embed demand space thinking and analytical capabilities across the organization, expanding its commercial application and fostering a culture of consumer-centricity.
  • Collaborate closely with local insights teams to ensure consistent application and adaptation of the demand spaces framework.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop two direct reports dedicated to the Demand Spaces program, fostering their growth and empowering them via various experiences while ensuring their contributions align with program objectives.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in consumer insights, market research, strategic planning, product marketing, or a related field within a global CPG company or leading research agency.
  • Demonstrated expertise in demand spaces/demand-centric growth, consumer segmentation, or similar consumer-centric strategic frameworks.
  • Proven experience in managing complex global research programs from strategy to execution.
  • Proficiency in various qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including advanced analytics.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving organizational change.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to partner and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
  • A proactive, curious, and innovative mindset with a passion for consumers and brands.
  • Global mindset and experience working in across multi-cultural contexts and in remote teams.

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
