    Description

    As part of the Palm Beach Health Network, West Boca Medical Center has delivered high-quality integrated healthcare in a community hospital environment in Boca Raton, FL, for 35 years. The state-of-the-art robotic surgery program offers minimally invasive surgery for certain procedures. Expectant mothers and their infants are treated with award-winning care at The Boca Center for Women’s Care.

    This group anesthesia practice is the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at West Boca Medical Center and at Delray Medical Center, a designated Level I Trauma Center. The practice also provides anesthesia services at three office-based locations in the area.

    Requirements

    Responsibilities

    • Pre-anesthesia assessment
    • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
    • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
    • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
    • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
    • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

    Requirements

    • Current license as a registered professional nurse
    • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
    • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
    • Proven Leadership Skills
