Basic responsibilities:

• Responsible for Chinese patent portfolio and other patent relevant affairs
• Team-up with Lead/support attorney in handling BPU tasks, actively share workload and deliver CN voice in IPU.
• Support R&D or application projects as local attorney, preparing new draft, SOTA, FOA analysis report with supervision.
• Provide comments on invalidation and infringement cases for CN prospective
• Support local project/innovation/business from patent side
• Provide IP training to APAC team and update legislation development in China to global IP team
• Participate Business target working group in global IP team.
• Support IP affairs in the other jurisdictions in APAC.
• Team up with the other Chinese patent attorney(s) for workload sharing
• Team up with Admin team, keep polishing prosecution workflow and database update.
• Other tasks or responsibilities relevant to IP

Qualifications:

• MSc in biology or relevant field

• Must have Chinese patent attorney certification

• Preferred to have Chinese general law certification

• Fluent at English, orally or in written.

  At least 8 years experience
