We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This role involves advising clients on moderately complex risks, including surety exposures, negotiate transactions, and oversee related documentation. Independently manage assignments, support senior brokers, pursue new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and clients while reviewing contracts and financials.

We will count on you to:

• Advise clients on moderately complex risks, including surety-related exposures, and negotiate transactions to meet their needs.

• Oversee timely production and follow-up of account/program documents, policy documentation, and surety bond forms.

• Assist with identifying and pursuing opportunities to acquire new clients and projects.

• Independently manage assignments and support senior brokers in serving larger or more complex clients

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, reinsurers, clients, and colleagues to deliver comprehensive solutions.

• Review contract documents, General Agreements of Indemnity, bond forms, banking terms, and client financial statements with specific attention to surety requirements and industry-specific financial metrics.

What you need to have:

• 3+ years of experience in a commercial insurance environment, with a strong focus on middle market commercial accounts.

• Demonstrated expertise in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance products and services.

• Property and Casualty (P&C) license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $72,500 to $154,300.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
