Typical Accountabilities
- Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.
- Engage Oncology healthcare professionals in dialogue about approved indications and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
- Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.
- Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of market, demographic, and managed markets information relative to assigned sales territory.
- Comply with all regulations regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, distribution of samples, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential: Bachelor’s degree; a number of years of pharmaceutical sales and/or relevant healthcare experience; Proven success working in complex cross‑functional teams; Strong scientific acumen with the ability to lead credible, influence‑driven clinical conversations in Oncology; Open to feedforward and actively seeks insights for growth and development; Strong understanding of reimbursement and distribution challenges; Advanced business planning, territory analytics, and problem‑solving with increasing autonomy and accountability.
Desirable: Experience launching new products; Demonstrated experience in delivering a total office call within Oncology; experience contributing to evolving sales strategy; Effective leadership, organization, and communication skills; Sound judgment and decision‑making; Results‑oriented with strong time management; Account planning and/or complex reimbursement experience; Ability to learn, analyze, understand, and convey complex information.
