Job Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

Program Manager is responsible for driving our product roadmap journeys through coordination of technical and functional deliverables across all stages of development. A program manager is a leader who oversees the planning, executing and tracking of programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop detailed project plans including milestones, deliverables, activities & timelines along with technical and functional teams
  • Plan, create, maintain, and control program schedules across multiple interdependent projects to achieve a high level of coordination.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure the coordination of efforts to achieve the product transition from marketing, engineering development through new product introduction into manufacturing
  • Identify program risks and manage risk register; support in developing actionable mitigation strategies to achieve program success.
  • Support cross-functional teams to identify problems, prioritize problems and overcome program roadblocks in an effective and timely manner.
  • Track program progress and report effectively on status, risks, mitigation strategies through weekly and monthly reporting system

LOCATION, TRAVEL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Bangalore / Yelachenahalli, Bangalore and travelling to Chikkaballapur factory on need basis.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 20% of the time.

FORMAL EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENT

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a premier institute (mandatory)
  • Master of Business Administration from a premier institute (preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS PPT (mandatory)
  • Good knowledge of project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana) (preferred)
