As an OR Circulating Nurse, you’ll be the eyes, voice, and advocate for the patient throughout every procedure. You’ll oversee the intraoperative environment, coordinate the surgical team, and uphold the highest standards of safety and care from first incision to final count.

This is a full-time, 30-hour/week position — structured as 3 days per week at 10 hours per shift (weekdays only). All the impact. All the benefits. With more time for the rest of your life.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare the OR for each case based on surgeon preference cards, procedure needs, and patient requirements

  • Serve as the patient’s advocate throughout the intraoperative phase — monitoring, documenting, and communicating continuously

  • Perform and verify surgical counts (sponges, sharps, instruments) and initiate corrective action when needed

  • Ensure safe medication administration and accurate specimen handling per protocol

  • Anticipate surgeon and team needs; keep things moving safely, efficiently, and without disruption

  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique — intervene immediately if breaks occur

  • Manage patient positioning to protect circulation, respiration, and comfort

  • Troubleshoot and ensure all equipment is functioning properly before and during each case

  • Keep surgical suites clean, stocked, and ready for rapid turnover

  • Collaborate closely with the surgical tech, anesthesia, and nursing team to deliver seamless, high-quality care

What You Bring

  • Current Ohio RN license (required)

  • BLS and ACLS certification (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of operating room experience — OR experience strongly preferred

  • Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) experience a plus

  • Solid command of aseptic technique, surgical counts, and intraoperative safety protocols

  • A sharp, proactive mindset — you read the room, stay a step ahead, and never lose focus on the patient

  • The ability to think critically under pressure and act with confidence and integrity

  • A collaborative, humble attitude — no task is beneath you

Schedule & What We Offer

  • 30 hours/week — 3 days x 10-hour shifts (weekdays only)

  • Health benefits within 30 days — medical, dental, vision & more

  • PTO begins accruing on day 1

  • NO nights, weekends, or call

  • Paid holidays — without the work

  • Bonus opportunities for excellence and referrals

  • A culture of respect, action, and support
