About the Role
The Allied Health Interprofessional Education team will provide expert leadership in advancing clinical education and workforce capability across the Allied Health workforce inclusive of students. This role will have a focus on interprofessional education across the Allied Health Services and will support the support design and implementation of the SVHM Allied Health Education Strategy.
Your Contribution
You will be a role model for others, demonstrating well-developed clinical knowledge of your discipline area, have skills and knowledge in clinical education, feedback mechanisms, clinical supervision and leadership skills.
Essential requirements
You will be a qualified Allied Health Professional, registered with AHPRA or eligible for membership with the appropriate Professional Association for self-regulated Allied Health professions.
You will have completed, or be working towards, a relevant higher degree or post graduate qualification in education. The successful candidate will be required to undertake satisfactory National Police and NDIS Worker Screening Checks prior to appointment.

About the Allied Health Education team
The position will work with the Allied Health Clinical Education Lead as part of the Allied Health Interprofessional Education team supporting Allied Health staff working across SVHM. This includes the Allied Health & Pharmacy Program, Health Independence Program and St Vincent’s Virtual and at Home program and excludes Mental Health.
In total there are approximately 500 FTE Allied Health (headcount 650) working across SVHM. This position is based at the Fitzroy Campus of SVHM and will provide support across all SVHM sites and programs; the Allied Health Clinical Educator is expected to attend these sites on a regular basis.
