The Solutions Consultant is an expert in Noggin’s products who can match customer needs with Noggin’s available solutions, to help close deals more quickly. The role requires taking an active role in understanding customer needs, developing an initial view of how the solution should be adapted to meet those needs, and determining how Noggin’s products can be positioned to emphasize differentiators and advantages. Solutions Consultant acts as a subject matter expert in meetings with prospects/customers, demonstrating the products and answering questions, to ensure that Noggin understands the customers’ problems and the customer understands how Noggin can solve them, and the benefits we offer.
The Solutions Consultant is also often the first point at demonstrating the Noggin products to the customer, so needs to have excellent knowledge of the Noggin products, and great presentation skills. The Solutions Consultant will often tailor the software solution before demonstrating it and answer any product or implementation questions.
The Solutions Consultant also provides commercial and compliance support by triaging these inquiries to the relevant regional teams who are the SMEs in this area, and facilitate these response to the prospect as part of pre-sales engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business / commerce / information technology / computer science, or equivalent qualifications or experience.
Experience and Skills
Essential:
A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in business or software analysis, with at least 2 in a senior role
Fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish
Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis, and pre-sales consulting and the preparation of pre-sales documents
Demonstrated experience in analyzing the needs of prospective customers against an existing product set, and providing advice on how solutions can be delivered using those products
Experience with ownership of the client relationship and front-line stakeholder engagement
Experience working within project teams in a software development context
Market or product analysis for software products
Business development or sales experience
Desirable to have exposure to risk, crisis, incident, or emergency management systems
