Summary

Industry Leading Entertainment Company seeks a qualified individual for a staff accountant position.  This position will work from our New York City Office.

Responsibilities

  • Code AP vouchers
  • Prepare various journal entries
  • Weekly cash deposits
  • Weekly sales entries
  • Perform bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare and Pay Sales Tax
  • Responsible for compliance to all company policies and procedures in order to adhere to all audit programs
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Organized with ability to manage tasks to deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Previous Oracle experience is a plus
