What you will be doing:

We are looking for an Automotive and Embedded Hardware Application Engineer to complement our team and help our partners integrate NVIDIA technologies like DRIVE Platforms into vehicles, and Jetson platforms into Embedded and Robotic systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving customer engagements by:

  • Working with customers to develop groundbreaking & new technologies through proof of concepts, all the way through productization

  • Building close technical relationships with customers & partners

  • Working with worldwide teams to lead technical activities and customer support

  • Reviewing schematic and PCB layout

  • Supporting customer design board bring-up and technical workshops

  • Diagnosing problems with customer designs and seeking to solve technical issues

  • Development of technical support materials including customer-specific documentation

What we need to see:

  • BS+ or equivalent experience in EE/CE/CS engineering field

  • Solid knowledge of digital and analog electronics, electric circuits, signal integrity, PCB technologies    

  • Knowledge of processor/SoC interfaces (e.g. SPI, UART, I2C, I2S, PCIe, CSI, Ethernet, HDMI / DisplayPort, USB) and memory subsystem design, both at an electrical and protocol level

  • Knowledge of power supplies (e.g. PMIC, DC/DC, LDO)

  • Methodical hardware debugging techniques and proficient with using modern oscilloscopes

  • Proficient with reading and navigating through hardware design collateral such as schematics, layout, technical specifications, and 3D CAD files
