As a Senior Staff UX/UI Designer at Stryker's Smart Care Business Unit within the Medical Division, your expertise in defining meaningful user experience is imperative in helping us deliver our mission to make healthcare better. 

What You Will Do

• Work with a variety of technology-focused teams, using your expertise to influence long-term goals at Stryker. 

• Leveraging human-centered design methods, drive the creation of solutions to issues with clinical workflows within the hospital setting.  

• You will be responsible for the definition, design and documentation of all user-experience related aspects of the product user interface.   

• You will define the user experience and interface design. Must be comfortable designing interactions utilizing voice and AI across a multi touchpoint user experience.

• The Senior Staff Designer is a level 4 designer. You will be an advocate for the end user of our products, partnering closely upstream marketing, and software engineering teams to implement and test designed interfaces and multiple end point user interactions. 

• Although collaboration is key, you’ll be expected to lead by design. This means helping development teams make progress utilizing user centered design methods.

What You Need 

• BA/BS in Design (interaction, visual communication, graphic, product, industrial) or related discipline. 

• 6+ years of experience, medical devices highly preferred.  

• Experience with digital and AI supported design tools. 

• Experience in design research and user testing. 

• Strong knowledge of user-centered processes and user experience design. 

• Experience building products from concept to launch.  

• Proven experience designing usable interfaces.  

• Experience developing AI and voice experiences is preferred.

$102,600 - $222,300 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
