Job Description Summary

The Senior Functional Leader - Service Parts Logistics, Distribution and Customs & Trade Compliance is accountable for defining and delivering the global process and system solutions for Parts Operations, with special focus on Distribution, Logistics, Customs and Trade Compliance.

This role partners with Parts Fulfillment, Services Global Operations, Projects & Engineered Solutions (P&ES) and Logistics, Distribution and Customs & Trade Compliance supply chain teams to ensure system and process solutions are data-driven, user-friendly, KPI-led and support the required service level to customers. The leader ensures requirement settings, schedules, and operational milestones are completed on time— enabling real-time visibility, predictability, and performance management across the fulfillment lifecycle.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

-        Business Strategy & Vision: Define and lead the global digital strategy for Services Operations Distribution, Logistics, Customs and Trade Compliance solutions. Transform traditional system setups into KPI-driven solutions that directly influence operational performance, cycle time, and on- time delivery.

-        Process Harmonization & Operating Model: Standardize and simplify processes for all contractual types. Establish an efficient distribution model, embedding Lean principles and enabling daily

management within transactional systemsnot outside of them. Embed Lean principles and daily management in partnership with Services Operations to eliminate non-value-added activities, improve predictability, and enable consistent execution across regions.

-        Digital Roadmap Ownership: Own the functional roadmap for Distribution, Logistics, Customs and Trade Compliance.  Ensure scalable, governed solutions that enable inbound, inventoried and outbound material visibility and on-time delivery.

-       Primary processes and programs in scope

o  Services Warehousing, including inventory transfers & rooftop consolidation, Hazmat, Advanced Shipping Notice, continuous improvement

o  Services Logistics & Trade Compliance, including OTM integration, Customs 3rd party engagement, continuous improvement

o  Strategic program support, including Services Bill Of Material and kitting capability and transfers of work

-        Transformation Delivery Partnership: Serve as the primary functional counterpart to IT. Co-own solution design, validate blueprints, and shape delivery to ensure alignment with business priorities. Drive clarity on requirements, scope, and value-based prioritization.

-        Change Leadership & Adoption: Lead enterprise change management by aligning stakeholders, clarifying roles, and embedding new ways of working. Drive adoption across regions while enabling structured decommissioning of legacy systems in line with the global ERP roadmap.

-        People & Capability Leadership: Establish strong functional governance, clear decision rights, and effective escalation mechanisms to enable speed and accountability. Build organizational capability to sustain transformation outcomes.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

•    10+ additional years of experience in cross functional roles supporting Distribution, Logistics, Customs, Trade Compliance, Services Operations, Region Operations organizations

Desired Qualifications

-       Proven experience leading service and operations across regions using Digital Technology.

-       Strong background in process standardization, Lean, and operating model design.

-       Functional expertise with GEV Applications including ERPs, Oracle Transportation Management and

Warehouse management systems

-       Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into scalable digital solutions in partnership with

IT.

Digital & ERP Functional Authority

  • Owns functional roadmap for ERP, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Leads system design, integration, automation, and IT solution governance.
