Job Summary:
Perform thermal simulation (or) CFD analysis on the assigned projects to support the product development. The responsibility also includes preparation of reports and providing necessary guidance to the concerned project teams.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform thermal simulation/CFD analysis for the assigned projects.
2. Define the simulation models including the geometrical modeling, material properties etc.,
3. Conduct steady state or transient simulations as required by the project needs.
4. Interpret the results and provide inputs to the design team for improving the system performance.
5. Automate the simulations where ever possible to reduce the analysis time.
6. Optimize the simulation models to achieve faster convergence.
7. Stay updated to the latest advancements in the field of thermal engineering and apply it to improve the simulation techniques.
8. Contribute to the development of standard guidelines & methodologies within the department.
9. Support other activities within the department such as process automation, data management etc.,
10. Provide technical guidance to the junior members.

Qualifications - External
B.Tech./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
Experience: 4-8 years in thermal simulation domain
Good knowledge in thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Exposure to any commercial CFD software (such as ICEM, FLUENT, COMSOL etc.,) is desirable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
