The Opportunity:

We are seeking to hire a dependable, detail-oriented purchasing assistant for an extremely fast-paced Government Contractor. Work closely with Procurement Staff and internal customer to ensure correct material/service is solicited. Excellent time management, analytical, communication skills, attention to detail, and outstanding internal customer service rapport.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for identifying and vetting sources, soliciting  quotes for Bill of Materials, and negotiating terms and best value.
  • Post-award action includes issuing purchase order awards, handling purchasing management related issues, and supporting indirect procurement activity.  Other duties include working w/DCMA to preserve an Approved Purchasing System, manage the Purchasing Card Program, and Category Management across the entire company.
  • Must hold a warrant in compliance with the CACI Procurement Policy and CACI’s signature authority database.



Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance (to include Interim Secret Clearance prior to start)
  • Must Be a U.S. Citizen.
  • General Administrative duties: fax, copy, email, scan, file, and FedEx.
  • Managing, editing, and data entry of documents in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
  • Scan and archive documentation.
  • Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for material and services in Procure to Pay (P2P).
  • Approve invoices in P2P.
  • Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) Management: verify receipt and put together archive packets.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as, parts, PRs, POs, vendors, shipping, delivery, and receiving.
  • Assist in resolving issues or inconsistencies with requestors.
  • Verify estimates of costs and quantities.
  • Build productive working relationships with all level of employees.
  • Give attention to detail and follows instructions.
  • Work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Stay organized and multi-task in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Work in a fast pace environment by prioritizing and multi-tasking.
  • Support the Purchasing Department to include supporting other departments if required

Desired:
  • Prior business administrative experience/knowledge.
  • Prior business financial experience/knowledge.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$37,500 - $75,100
