About the Role

The ideal candidate is an outstanding writer who enjoys distilling large amounts of unstructured, diverse source material into concise explanations of software changes and enhancements targeted to professional and technical audiences. This is a good role for someone who excels at problem solving and connecting pieces together, and who enjoys always working on something new.

  • Draft, edit, and publish content for release notes on a weekly basis.

  • Works closely with editorial, development, customer support, product management, and services to develop high-quality technical content.

  • Support other writers, answer questions, and provide guidance around release-notes related questions and concerns

  • Drafts, maintains, and edits content for release notes and release publications.

  • Balances a diverse workload that includes multiple deliverables and responsibilities with overlapping deadlines

  • Prepares content for online delivery.

  • Learns and tests product functionality while writing documentation.

  • Learns and applies Workday writing style with a focus on customer experience and functional relevancy.

  • Provides regular updates to manager on project status.

  • Mentors new writers with less experience in aspects of the job.

  • Contributes to shared projects across the larger team.

About You

We're looking for someone with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, who is analytical with strong attention to detail, and who works efficiently in a lively environment, and can quickly prioritize deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of technical writing experience or equivalent. 

Other Qualifications

  • Experience implementing or working with enterprise software preferred.

  • Prior experience working to weekly deadlines and deliverables

  • Proactive and able to work independently on multiple projects. 

  • Background in human resources, payroll, finance, or higher education a plus.

  • This is a hybrid position in our Dublin office.
