About the Role

Seeking a detail-oriented Coordinator to power our Trees sustainability. You’ll centralize data, lead cross-team reporting, and optimize field execution through dashboards and surveys. Help us refine our offerings and deliver better results for farmers.

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination and execution of the Trees Sustainability workstream under the guidance of a Specialist or Trees Lead.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, timelines and milestones.
  • Document key learnings including challenges and risks, areas of improvement and opportunities.
  • Consolidate and maintain all data and documentation related to the Sustainability workstream including the Fruit Trees Program.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track project performance and key indicators including nursery performance and efficiency, germination, and production, farmer enrolments and sales, distribution and post distribution farmer follow up.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of all program data.
  • Conduct regular budget variance analysis to determine performance against budget and share finding with program leadership.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to field teams based on program performance data.
  • Design and/or Support farmer surveys to gather insights for program improvement.
  • Go to Gemba regularly  to meet with farmers, tree group leaders, nursery managers, key community leaders to build fluency on field execution to inform targeted support to field teams.
  • Train field staff on program objectives, data collection, and reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices in Trees management and Value chain.
  • Conduct regular check ins with team members on weekly basis.
  • Provide constructive feedback on staff performance through regular performance reviews conducted at least  twice a year.

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience implementing agroforestry projects at the field level
  • University degree required in Business Administration, International Development, Agric Economics, or related fields.
  • Expert at transforming raw data into actionable insights through custom dashboards and advanced performance reporting.
  • Proficient in crafting high-level presentations and technical reports that translate complex data for executive decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Highly organized with a focus on efficient work planning, meticulous attention to detail, and seamless task execution.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of resolving complex operational bottlenecks.
  • Skilled communicator and trainer, capable of leading workshops and facilitating cross-functional team alignment.
