General Description:
Functions under the administrative guidance of the shift supervisor or manager to provide services to emergency patients. Under the clinical direction of the Emergency Department Physician, collects and conveys information to physician and licensed nurse regarding the health status of patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Successful completion of Paramedic training program.
Experience: Two (2) years of hospital and/or pre-hospital experience providing immediate stabilization and transport of sick and injured patients.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current license issued by the Oklahoma State Department of Health as a Paramedic. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 3 months of hire. PALS (America Heart Association) required within 1 year of hire.
