Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Lead Market Development Initiatives - Execute key market development strategies to advance the utilisation of Medtronic aortic stenosis treatment, valve clinic efficiencies, referrer awareness programs and patient outreach initiatives.
Create a strong value proposition with key customers to develop relationships and underline Medtronic as a leader in the Aortic Stenosis space.
Develop relationships with GP liaison officers to ensure strong partnerships with hospitals to provide education and assist in developing referral networks to get timely treatment for Aortic Stenosis.
Work to increase awareness and acceptance of market development programs to assist in driving key clinical pathways, improved outcomes and device utilisation. Programs like (but not limited to): Therapy Awareness, Clinical Referral channels, digital platforms, Economic value, valve clinic through-put, referral simplification channels etc.
Partner with the Marketing Manager on the creation and dissemination of strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with physicians, hospital executives, TAVI coordinators, and General Practitioners to increase public awareness and clinical pathway development for aortic stenosis.
Partner with Marketing and Sales Leadership to develop and implement action plans for targeted disease states.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Leadership to create and manage action plans regarding the identification, development and partnership of KOLs.
Partner with Sales Leadership and Marketing on customer expansion strategies and opportunities to reach new physicians.
Work across the SH division to actively promote wider therapies across Medtronic.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business management, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in market development or sales within the medical device or pharma industry.
Demonstrable track record developing business plans & goal setting
Understanding of local health care requirements (outcomes research, cost, etc.)
Willingness and ability to learn complex technical information. Ability to interpret clinical data.
