As Strategic Marketing Partnerships head, you will lead the vision, development, and execution of Sam’s Club’s most critical external partnerships to accelerate member acquisition, engagement, and retention, and deliver multi-billion-dollar revenue growth. This highly visible, enterprise-wide role will shape the strategic alliance roadmap, forge C-suite relationships with Fortune 500 brands, and launch integrated marketing partnerships that unlock new channels, enhance member value, and position Sam’s Club as the most relevant and rewarding membership in the market. You will operate at the intersection of strategy, marketing, data, and relationship management, driving measurable impact across all facets of the business.
About the Team
The Strategic Marketing Partnerships team creates and scales innovative partnerships that extend the Sam’s Club value proposition into new consumer and business ecosystems. We identify, negotiate, and activate alliances with leading brands across retail, travel, dining, services, and e-commerce, delivering differentiated member experiences and profitable growth. Our work is data-driven, relationship-led, and outcome-focused, requiring cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Membership, Finance, Product, Technology, and Operations to deliver high-impact results at speed and scale.
What you’ll do...
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Annual Member Acquisition – Deliver a minimum of 1M net new members annually through strategic partnership channels. Revenue Impact – Generate $1B+ incremental revenue and co-brand card purchase volume annually from partnership-driven programs. Partner ROI & Engagement – Achieve an average partner ROI of 4:1 on co-funded marketing and offer investments, with sustained year-over-year growth.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
