NVIDIA is currently seeking an exceptional Software Director for our Aerial CUDA RAN (5G/6G) team. As part of the NVIDIA Aerial development team, you will help take our product to the next level by working closely with our software, hardware, firmware, and verification teams. This role will provide you with the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of NVIDIA's products and technologies. Your primary responsibility will be leading the software development and performance engineering for our 5G, 6G and AI RAN efforts.
What you'll be doing:
Be responsible for the software development and performance engineering, optimizations and benchmarking of our Aerial CUDA RAN software.
Create, build, and manage a strong team of wireless software and system engineers.
Create a strong performance engineering competency and drive the virtuous cycle of Measure-Optimize-Benchmark software and system level performance.
Work with a continuous integration system, regression tools.
Innovate! Bring NVIDIA's 6G tools and products to shine in customer's view.
What we need to see:
BS/MS in SW / Computer / Electrical / Communication Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong background in wireless systems including but not limited to 5G/6G, Radio Access Networks (RAN), AI RAN, and building network applications in the Cloud.
15+ years of overall experience.
7+ years of experience in building exceptional and result-oriented teams.
Hands-on experience in C, C++, and Python development. Knowledge in Linux User space.
Strong bent towards performance optimizations for real time communication systems.
Creative, motivated, and value-driven person.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background with Networking applications and protocols.
Background in wireless evolution and a good understanding of network architecture.
Experience in leading SW development teams.
Ability to be hands-on and teach others on how to develop embedded SW.
