APJ Software Product Marketing Manager for designated software solution portfolio handling regional GTM product strategy and
implementation of sales strategies throughout the region.

Job Description

  • Develop localized product marketing strategy (downstream) for oncology treatment planning systems and information systems portfolios as assigned.

  • Responsible for new product introduction (NPI) to Asia Pacific, Japan, and India market and define key messages based on local market needs and segment.

  • Developing/ contributing to regional marketing strategy, value proposition and solutions positioning.

  • Prepare sales tools including brochure, sales PPT, configuration, tender book, etc. for the responsible product portfolios.

  • Collating ad generating published evidences to support the company’s value proposition.

  • Work closely with sales, sales support team to meet annual target, including product presentation and demo to customers.

  • Will be responsible for managing and coordinating the sales of the targeted product lines. This includes being the technical product expert for the product lines, developing and presenting sales proposals, systems solutions, and closing complex technical sales.

  • Support Regulatory Affairs in new product registration for responsible products.

  • Work together with GEO Marketing Team members, country marketing teams and Sales team to develop reference sites.

  • Understanding customer’s clinical and economic needs, as well as values and benefits sought and prioritizing customer segments and business opportunities to lead needs-based segmentation.

  • Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers in the health care system, government agencies, regulatory bodies, key opinion leaders and community to drive market shaping activities.

  • Collaborate with global oncology treatment delivery solutions team, global OIS and OSS teams and Service marketing team for new product introduction within APJ region.

  • Develop and evolve Go-To-Market (GTM) plan to successfully launch new products/ versions to current and new markets.

  • Create and execute on training, tools and marketing collateral to help the APJ region promote the value of product portfolio and for sales team to successfully sell value.

  • Driving the use of market research to identify opportunities and clinical trends, integrate competitive intelligence into marketing planning by assessing competitor portfolios and growth strategies.

  • Ability to drive deep through working with in-country marketing to lead execution in marketing plans, track and monitor success of marketing initiatives and increase customer adoption.

  • Have the ability to assist with the correct configuration of customer quotations and assist with sales efforts to secure software and hardware sockets for Varian.

  • Must be able to provide Business Plans, orders results, and forecast for product lines for given region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above, Oncology related sciences preferred. Business degree with extensive oncology or software sales experience acceptable.

  • More than 2 years product marketing work experience in a large healthcare or med-tech solutions businesses in the field of oncology preferred.

  • More than 3 years work experience in Radiation Oncology department preferred.

  • Proven presentation & communication skills and ability to influence colleagues.

  • Possesses high energy, self-directed, team player and detail oriented with a sense of excitement both internally and externally for our products and our company.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills.

  • Proven inclusive, leadership style.

  • Natural collaborative work ethic and approach.

  • Must possess excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills with excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Working Location: Any of the countries in Asia Pacific - Australia/ India/ Indonesia/ Japan/ Korea/ Malaysia/ Philippines/ Singapore/ Thailand/ Vietnam

Additional Requirements

  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop and lead a diverse group across various locations.

  • Knowledge, experience and understanding of working within the Asia Pacific markets.

  • Strong customer-focused mindset.

  • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Able to communicate effectively with people from different levels, and across different functions.

  • Willing to travel 30% of the time. Flexible work hours due to global communication needs of the position which will involve some early morning and evening calls.
