Internship Program Overview:

Our Interns & Co-ops are our entry-level talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with a meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. Summary of Role:

The growing Business Transformation Office at GLOBALFOUNDRIES seeks a personable and highly motivated summer intern to support a major digital transformation program in day-to-day project management and organizational change management tasks and activities. 

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Support the manufacturing transformation release lead with day-to-day activities in preparing our worldwide fabs for the transformation.
  • Communicate and coordinate with fab stakeholders on user acceptance test activities for the various releases within the program.
  • Assist with change impact assessment, training material preparation, and rollout/monitoring training completion as part of the adoption process.
  • Work closely and engage with project team members, global subject matter experts, internal and external business counterparts to ensure timely status reporting, issue resolution, and organizational readiness for change.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in business administration, information systems, or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship. Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in business administration, information systems, industrial engineering, program management or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
  • Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week during the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
  • Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning & organizational skills
  • Agility and adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and skilled at cross-functional collaboration.
