As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate with multiple business and engineering stakeholders, both internal and external to Bolt; therefore, strong communication and project management skills are essential.

In addition, this role involves working with APIs and related tools, investigating and troubleshooting various issues and bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Operations to effectively scale our business.

  • <point>Managing and supporting integration efforts by handling incoming integration requests, proactively reaching out to POS companies, guiding implementation efforts, and assisting integrators with testing and best practices.</point>
  • <point>Overseeing integration projects by organizing and managing timelines, setting expectations, monitoring delays, and maintaining effective communication with partners throughout the process.</point>
  • <point>Partnering to build and sustain relationships with integrators, tracking tasks across tools like Jira and Slack, acting as the primary contact for enterprise accounts, resolving technical issues, and escalating critical problems as needed.</point>
  • <point>Gathering and communicating technical requirements by collaborating with partners to define valid strategies, transitioning partners to Tech Support when applicable, and ensuring alignment with project goals.</point>
  • <point>Enhancing and scaling solutions by identifying bottlenecks, improving integration processes for long-tail retail, and documenting scalable solutions for e-commerce platforms, WMSes, and POS systems.</point>
  • <point>Documenting and providing on-site support by developing and maintaining clear technical documentation, ensuring the adoption of tools like Sandbox, and traveling to partners for problem-solving or on-site launches when necessary.</point>

  • <point>You leverage a strong technical background to collaborate effectively with engineers in their technical language, applying foundational computer science knowledge (e.g., encryption/decryption methods, network protocols, and API understanding), using tools to debug and monitor client-server interactions, analyzing technical solutions to identify strengths and weaknesses, evaluating integration alternatives to determine the most efficient option, and breaking down complex solutions into actionable engineering tasks clearly communicated to the development team.</point>
  • <point>You work seamlessly with engineers (both from our team and external partners), enabling the individuals to grasp technical complexities and identify inadequacies from less competent outsourcing partners.</point>
  • <point>You communicate excellently to facilitate participation in high-level stakeholder meetings.</point>
  • <point>You draw on extensive experience in project and process management to proactively lead projects for partners of all sizes — from enterprise-level organizations with multiple technical teams to SMBs with minimal resources, including those relying on a single contracted freelancer for specific integration tasks.</point>
