Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for Manager, TPO Procurement Ops for EMEA ASPAC, located in Paranaque, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines.

This role serves as the Technology Product Owner for Procurement Operations platforms supporting the EMEA and ASPAC regions. You will be accountable for the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise procurement applications, partnering closely with Global Procurement, regional stakeholders, and IT delivery teams. The role has a direct impact on operational efficiency, compliance, user experience, and scalability of procurement processes across multiple geographies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex, global solutions that enable business growth and transformation within DePuy Synthes and reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Procurement Operations technology platforms across EMEA and ASPAC. 

  • Partner with Global and Regional Procurement leaders to translate business needs into clear, prioritized technology requirements. 

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of enhancements and new capabilities, from concept through deployment and adoption. 

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Applications, architecture, and integration teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. 

  • Ensure alignment with global IT standards, data governance, and cybersecurity requirements. 

  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data, user feedback, and performance metrics to optimize procurement processes. 

  • Manage vendor and partner relationships related to procurement technology solutions. 

  • Support change management, communications, and training to ensure successful regional adoption. 

  • Lead regional deployment and adoption of procurement operations platforms across EMEA and ASPAC, supporting separation activities while addressing regional regulatory and operating requirements. 

Qualifications 

Education 

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. 

  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or MS) or equivalent advanced training. 

Experience and Skills 

Required: 

  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT, enterprise applications, or digital product management, with a focus on procurement or supply chain systems. 

  • Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or IT Manager for complex, global platforms. 

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes (e.g., sourcing, purchasing, contracts, supplier management). 

  • Experience working with ERP and procurement technologies (e.g., SAP or similar enterprise platforms). 

  • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders across regions and cultures. 

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. 

Preferred: 

  • Experience supporting EMEA and/or ASPAC regional operations. 

  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies. 

  • Experience in a regulated or highly matrixed global organization. 

  • Exposure to digital transformation or procurement modernization initiatives. 

Other: 

  • Language: Proficiency in English required; additional regional languages are a plus. 

  • Travel: Up to 10–20% international travel, as business needs require. 

  • Certifications (Preferred): Product Owner, Agile/Scrum, SAP, or equivalent certifications.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
