Job Description Summary:

The BPM Digital Capabilities Developer designs and delivers digital and automation capabilities that strengthen Philips’ Business Process Management and Management Systems. The role focuses on automating BPM and governance activities, improving efficiency and quality, and enabling scalable, future‑ready process management. Working with Product Owners, IT, and functional experts, the role supports continuous improvement of the Philips Process Framework and MS-QMS inputs through digitalization and automation.

Job Description:

1. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement digital BPM capabilities that automate recurring and manual process and governance activities.
  • Deliver quick wins through workflow automation, scripting, validations, and data or semantic checks.
  • Contribute to end‑to‑end process improvement initiatives using structured excellence and continuous improvement methods.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, IT, and functional experts in an agile/scrum like environment to translate business needs into scalable digital solutions.
  • Contribute to the BPM digital capability roadmap, including AI‑enabled process management and intelligent automation.
  • Support testing, software validation, configuration management, and continuous improvement of BPM solutions.
  • Ensure alignment of digital capabilities with the Philips Process Framework, Management Systems, and QMS requirements.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and adoption through communities of practice and training support.

2. Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in automation development, workflow orchestration, or digital capability development.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar automation platforms.
  • Experience working in a Scrum / agile development team, delivering solutions via user stories.
  • Coding skills in Java or JavaScript to support digital capability development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, including how to call, integrate, and consume API endpoints.
  • Knowledge of Gen AI and ability to create / work with No Code / Low Code agentic framework like Co Pilot Studio.
  • Strong affinity with Business Process Management, process optimization, and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with BPMN and process modeling standards.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

3. Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • ARIS experience (scripting, configuration, administration, or governance workflows) is a strong plus.
  • Exposure to AI‑enabled process management, process mining, or intelligent automation is a plus.
  • Lean or Continuous Improvement certification (e.g. Lean Foundation) is desirable.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
