We are currently looking for position: Credit Control Specialist

Location: Kraków

 

The main responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis of clients in accordance with the Group principles
  • Preparing reports (regular and ad-hoc) for the management board of the CANPACK Group
  • Collecting financial and economic information about clients
  • Monitoring the utilization levels of commercial credit limits to ensure compliance with company policy.
  • Analysis and reporting of the level of receivables for CANPACK Group
  • Collection of data required for the updating of internal selling prices
  • Updating price lists and calculating variable pricing based on established pricing formulas
  • Controlling the correctness of selling prices to our clients
  • Calculation of rebates for our clients in accordance with the terms of their contracts
  • Reconciling amounts arising from formula-based pricing with clients, in accordance with contract terms and Group principles.
  • Calculating rebates for our clients in accordance with the terms of contracts
  • Booking and management of accruals in line with accounting practices
  • Verification of accounting documents in terms of compliance with formal and tax requirements

 

Key requirements:

  • University degree in economics
  • Knowledge of financial analysis and accounting rules
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) – B2
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • The ability to think analytically
  • Good organization of work
  • Reliability in carrying out entrusted tasks
  • A strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in working with the SAP system would be highly desirable

The person in this position will be part of the team responsible for credit control and overseeing sales conditions.
If you decide to join our team, you will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of prices and reviewing the conditions for the payment of rebates/other reconciliations to our clients in accordance with the contracts. Additionally, you will be collecting and analyzing financial data from our clients, as well as supporting the setup and maintenance of credit limits for these clients. This role offers the opportunity to support our Sales Department and the company's Management by preparing various standard and ad-hoc reports and analyses in the areas of credit limits, receivables, rebates, and other reconciliations. Furthermore, it provides the chance to collaborate with our Group companies across the globe.
