Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking a Program Manager to support a pending contract award based in San Diego, CA.

The Site Manager who shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to Contract Performance. 

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work requirements as assigned to successfully complete mission IAW with all required standards.
  • Provide overall supervision for the Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the contract professionally; coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
  • Ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided.
  • Effectively supervising to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered.
  • Executing cost saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.
  • Provide overall management coordination and serve as the central point of contact (POC) with the Government for all work under the contract.
  • Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Distribution Management, or at least ten years of management experience in distribution operations similar in size and complexity to the operation offered in this contract. 
  • Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years. 
  • The Site Manager shall possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work. 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Distribution Management, Business Management, or Business Administration.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSATION

The annual starting salary for this position is between $170,000-$180,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
