JLL’s Capital Markets Pursuits team is a creative and high-performing group that blends strategy, storytelling, and design to win major deals across the region.
Based in Tokyo, you’ll create visually engaging materials for Japan Capital Markets — from pitch decks andinvestment memorandums to digital and motion content.

You’ll collaborate with designers across APAC who are passionate about exploring new tools — from graphic design to video, motion graphics, new-generation AI and PropTech tools. We transform complex information into visuals that inspire confidence, clarity, and impact.

What You’ll Do

• Design and produce high-quality pitch materials, presentations, investment memorandums, and marketing documents for capital markets transactions

• Translate complex and text-heavy content into clear, engaging and visually compelling stories

• Work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high design standards

• Develop and refine design templates and tools for day-to-day creative production

• Collaborate and share ideas with other designers across APAC to drive creative innovation

• Balance JLL brand principles with bespoke, project-specific design — creating tailored visual identities that best tell each deal’s story.

• Occasionally support digital campaigns, video editing, or social media visuals for institutional investors

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for design with a strong sense of aesthetics, layout and storytelling

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); PowerPoint proficiency also required

• Curiosity and openness to learning new tools — from AI-assisted design to motion and data visualization

• Proven ability to turn ideas into visuals that communicate clearly and persuasively

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple projects

• Self-motivated and collaborative with a positive “can-learn” mindset

Experience

• Any creative background welcome, ideally corporate experience, but must be supported by a Portfolio demonstrating design skills

• Photography, Video Editing, Animation, GIS, VR, and/or 3D experience a plus 

• Digital publishing experience including design principles, UX/UI experience a plus

• Minimum two years’ experience working in a corporate b2b design-based environment

Soft Skills

• Fluent in Japanese and with a strong command in English, written and verbal

• Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity

• Confident communicator who can explain design rationale clearly

• Positive, curious, and thrives in a fast-paced creative environment

• Ability able to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

• Strong degree of managing stakeholder expectations in a high-pressure environment
