As IT Governance Manager, you’ll provide strategic oversight and governance for the A4 CIO & Logistics IT Portfolio, ensuring effective decision-making and alignment with enterprise-level priorities. This role requires an expert in Agile coaching, IT governance, and portfolio management with experience supporting senior leaders at the GO/SES level. The SME will facilitate governance structures, engage with key stakeholders across the DAF, and ensure SES leaders remain informed on IT funding, strategy, and innovation management.

What you’ll do:

  • You will implement and manage IT governance frameworks to support strategic oversight of A4 IT Portfolio initiatives.
  • You will engage directly with senior executives, facilitating decision-making processes and cross-functional collaboration to address IT funding, strategy, and innovation challenges.
  • You will coordinate with governance structures across the DAF, ensuring that SES leaders receive timely updates on enterprise-level IT decisions and priorities, including those discussed within USecAF’s DAF Council.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • An active Top-Secret security clearance or higher
  • 5+ years of experience as an AF Governance SME providing Agile coaching, governance, and portfolio management support.
  • Experience with implementing governance at the GO/SES level to understand issues relating to IT funding, strategy, innovation management, and other considerations, to bring those issues forward to the correct stakeholders for decision-making and cross-functional collaboration (ex. A4 governance structure).
  • Managing engagement and collaboration with other governance structures across the DAF to keep SES leaders informed on enterprise-level decisions (ex. USecAF’s DAF Council).
