About the Role:

The Legal Director will lead all partnerships legal work and play a key role in scaling our digital advertising business. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to mission-critical commercial strategy, partner cross-functionally, and help shape the future of our legal function and learning platform.

We’re seeking someone with deep experience in negotiating commercial agreements—product integrations, strategic partnerships—and advising on ad-tech, direct and programmatic advertising, and licensing AI technology. Strong fluency in the global privacy landscape governing personalized advertising is a plus.

Success in this role requires excellent judgment, the ability to work collaboratively on a small team with shared resources, and comfort navigating ambiguity with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

This position reports to our General Counsel and works closely with senior leaders across the organization.

We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in our San Francisco or New York office. To support collaboration, we ask employees to be in the office at least three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We believe this work environment enhances efficiency, fosters collaboration, and supports growth for both employees and the organization.
