As a Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward. This position will focus on advancing how organizations design, develop, and implement new systems. You will bring your expertise to transform systems underpinning critical agency operations. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with a diverse team to tackle some of the most challenging problems our clients face. Your ability to lead, inspire, and integrate ideas will be key to our collective success.
  • Agile Development: Establish and maintain agile operations for development teams. Implement best practices to move from requirements and backlog items into high-quality products. Design and conduct testing throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Data Visualization: Develop and deploy analytics that powerfully convey insights across a variety of data sources and platforms.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Utilize your analytical prowess to dissect complex scenarios and devise strategic solutions. Your creativity isn’t just welcomed; it’s essential.
  • Effective Communication: Bridge gaps and build consensus with clarity and confidence, whether through compelling written reports or persuasive presentations.
  • Adaptability and Learning: In a landscape that constantly evolves, your readiness to adapt and absorb new concepts will define the path to groundbreaking achievements.
  • Strategic Influence: Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing insights that influence decision-making and foster lasting partnerships.
     

What You Will Need:

  • A track record of excellence in development, consulting, IT, strategy, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years in roles that have honed your analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working in and leading Agile development teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to distill complex analyses into compelling narratives and build consensus.
  • Proven leadership skills and a team-first attitude that allows you to excel in diverse groups, while fostering an environment of mutual respect and collaboration.
  • An ability to use your strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills to take ownership complex tasks.
  • An innately curious and enthusiastic attitude towards exploring new methodologies, technologies, and approaches to solve problems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.
  • This is a hybrid role which requires you to be within a commutable distance and have the ability to work out of Arlington, VA or at a client site in the DC Metro as needed.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting public sector organizations.
  • Advanced degrees and certifications (such as CPA, PMP, CAPM).
