Job Description

Join the Whole Foods Market Talent Acquisition team as a Senior Recruiter based at our Austin, TX headquarters. This pivotal role involves sourcing, evaluating, and hiring top-tier talent across various corporate functions, emphasizing full-cycle recruitment for Marketing, Internal Communications, and other store support teams nationwide. We are seeking a creative and strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with hiring leaders to develop innovative sourcing strategies and recruitment plans.

This position is based in Austin, TX and will require at least three days per week in our corporate downtown offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Manage the entire recruitment process from initial sourcing to final selection, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with team leaders, candidates, and other stakeholders.
  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with Whole Foods Market corporate hiring leaders to understand their talent needs and timelines, providing guidance on best recruitment practices, compensation, and negotiation strategies.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to attract a diverse candidate pool, adjusting tactics as needed to meet the dynamic needs of the business.
  • Diversity Initiatives: Commit to enhancing diversity within the recruitment process, ensuring a broad range of candidates are considered for all roles.
  • Analytics & Insights: Analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends and challenges, using data to refine strategies and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with HR and other departments to align talent acquisition strategies with broader business objectives.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years of relevant corporate recruitment experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing the full lifecycle of recruitment, from sourcing to closing, with a consistent track record of successfully filling positions.
  • Experience managing over 15 requisitions simultaneously, ensuring each candidate progresses through the recruitment process efficiently while maintaining a positive and transparent experience for all involved.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze external talent pipelines and trends, including competition, costs, productivity, and retention, to optimize recruitment strategies.
