The Release Manager plays a pivotal role in managing Agile Scrum and Kanban teams, ensuring seamless delivery of complex products and solutions. This role involves scheduling, coordination, planning, reporting, and oversight of release activities, while also governing change management processes. The Release Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive Agile best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.

What You'll Bring:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Agile processes for Scrum and Kanban teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of complex solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Testing, Operations, Product Management, and Release Train Engineers (RTE) to align on delivery goals.
• Drive the Scaled Agile SAFe Program Increment (PI) and Agile Release Train (ART) planning and execution.
• Manage daily standups, sprint planning, and change management activities.
• Provide epic-level delivery schedules and roadmap alignment to stakeholders.
• Promote the delivery of Minimal Viable Products (MVPs) to accelerate value realization.
• Track and report milestones and change management status to leadership.
• Identify and manage risks and dependencies across internal and external teams.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to address release scope and roadblocks.
• Maintain and document release plans, procedures, dependencies, and notifications.
• Oversee promotion of changes across environments and communicate release details to business units.
• Champion Agile and JIRA adoption for process improvement and innovation.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and lead implementation of new practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Release Management and Scrum Master roles.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps or DevSecOps environments.
• Proficiency in user story mapping and Scaled Agile SAFe framework.
• Strong command of Atlassian tools (JIRA, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Confluence).
• Formal training in project management preferred.
• Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive task completion.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAFe certification.
• Experience with JIRA Portfolio or JIRA Align.
