This role supports daily purchasing operations to ensure material availability aligned with business demand. You will manage supplier communications, execute purchase orders, and maintain accurate system data to support planning and production processes. The position works closely with supply planning, production scheduling, and sourcing teams.

What you will do

  • Execute purchasing transactions for assigned materials to ensure availability aligned with supply plans

  • Place and manage purchase orders according to predefined agreements, quantities, and timelines

  • Maintain accurate master data, including supplier lead times, product details, and replenishment parameters

  • Communicate forecast and demand changes to suppliers on a regular cadence

  • Monitor supplier performance using standard metrics such as on-time delivery and lead time adherence

  • Serve as primary contact for suppliers to adjust short-term requirements and resolve delivery issues

  • Prepare weekly reports on purchasing activities, supply risks, and performance tracking

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing processes and supplier interactions

What you will need

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or manufacturing

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE, AS400)

  • Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) processes

  • Experience working with supplier performance metrics

  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills

Travel Percentage: 20%
